I haven´t followed this thread all the way through to the end, but someone asked for the spec on the rods. I have pdf doc. from Arrow precision not being a paid up member of rennlist (shame on me I know) I can´t post attachments myself but if anyone wants to post it on here then email me on michaelrozzell@onlinehome.de and i´ll send it to you. By the way direct from Arrow they quoted me 220 GBP each + 17.5% VAT (EU purchasers), that was until they realised that they had some in stock and then the price dropped to 190 + vat each. Mine arrived in the post yesterday and they´re gorgeous.

That would be $1725 plus postage in the US...I do know somewhere else that is a litte cheaper...!
BTW - can you weight your rods? I would love to see if they are the same as the sets that I had Arrow make up for me.

today the exhaust was finished off, thanks for the help patrick, the inlet manifold and fuel rail went on and a few other bits and pieces. in goes the oil cooland and it was fired up. sounded good with the 3 inch exhaust. took it for the first drive and all went well, no boost just yet but the car definatly has more torque. got the car back on the hoist to discover a coolant leak. mmm got to get to the bottom of this one. well anyway the car was started and driven today which was our goal for the car. here are some Pics. check out the standard cat pipe i cut up! now thats a restriction

Wow up and running in five days thats fantastic

I'm interested to note that I can't see the air filter. Is it angled down behind the headlight or is it in the front wheel well? I need to do something similar to cut down my intake noise slightly

Hey Sean, excellent work there mate (and quick too). Sounds like your exhaust fabricating worked out nicely - it certainly looks very neat.

Hi Paul, we had a few days free at work so it needed to get done, there was a lot of overtime in the build. the air filter is in the front left fender, behind the bumper. there is just enough room in there for it. it did take a little noise away but only a little. maybe you need an air box for your car?

thanks wayne, the exhaust went pretty well, its just a big jigsaw really.

Yes apart from the flow restrictions of the old exhaust, the weight differentials are quite apparent. New one is much lighter. I think someone has posted the differences somewhere but this is a really good mod for more than one reason.

JET, car looks absolutely beautiful! Did you have to widen the hole inside the fender to fit the MAF piping thru?

Bonestock951s, the hole in the guard was big enough for the 3 inch piping.
