The top plastic scoops use the same standard mounts as the more typical metal scoops, but the lower deflectors require the 968 M030 control arm or an aftermarket control arm with the correct mounting holes (many race arms now have the mounting holes, I've noticed).

The Frozen Rotors brackets shown earlier in the thread will allow you to use the lower 968 deflectors on regular arms but they are a bit shaky according to most reports.

The brackets are a bit flimsey. I would rather leave it like that however as these things sit low on my car. About one inch off the ground (my car is low as heck already). So i figure its better they are flimsey and give a little than stiff and crack / shear off.

I have a spare set in my garage that I took off when I went to Kokeln control arms;...I'll take a look and see.

Did you have the mounting bracket as well? Or just the plastic scoops?

Just the scoops...and the OEM 968 control arms.

Default Mounting of 968 top brake scoop on aftermarket strut

Does anyone know where I can get a mount for the top 968 brake scoop for aftermarket struts. I have a 91 S2 with 968 control arms and brake scoops. I have recently purchased aftermarket struts (MCS), and have nowhere to mount the top brake scoop as well as the brake line and brake sensor wires. Any suggestions???
