Default 968 control arm mounted brake cooling scoops

Does anyone have any pictures of brackets they fabbed up or from FrozenRotors with the 968 brake cooling scoops? I know FrozenRotors used to carry the entire kit, but i do not see it on there website any. I emailed them regarding it but have a feeling they dont carry it anymore. I understand that the bracket attached to the top of the sway bar drop link.

I figure it will make my life a bit easier to see how others have done it already.

BTW, if anyone has a left and right side for sale... let me know.

I used to have the complete kit and am still going to get one for my new project car too. Because you had me concerned, I literally just called the company. They do still sell the complete kits, but aren't advertising them on their web site. If you need some pieces you may want to call them. I think he said they stock the brackets, but only order from Porsche the scoops when they need them. They aren't fast sellers. Anyway "they do", and will be carrying the 968 Cool Brake Kit.

Sweet, thanks Rolex. Ill have to fab up something to fit the top portion of the scoop. I am planning on using the regular metal 951 scoops on the strut for the time being. When ever these Koni's go bad, i am going to try to find a set of 951 or 968 strut housings with the proper mounting points on them. I still need to figure out how to mount the 951 scoops to my n/a housings, i was thinking of tack welding it but i dont want to the strut to blow up and send the shaft through the top of the strut tower from the heat. I know it wont get that hot...but still, welding that close to anything pressurized always makes me cringe.

I will call them right now to see what the brackets cost.

Albert, sent you a PM back. Thanks.

Thank you Albert. The bottom of your car is incredibly clean! Going to order all the stuff needed tomorrow. Just need to look around for a set of Turbo or 968 struts now. Or just not be lazy and fab up a bracket for the top .

Looks like ill be taking off those damn dust shields finally.. .

How much different/how much more effective are these from the 951 ones? Can't really get a picture of how the above one is different from the 951 in my head.
