One other thing....Jon Milledge said the car idled perfectly when he was done with it. It does have a high idle at the moment but I think there is a vacuum leak or the Motec has been played with since Jon worked on it.
P.S. Thanks for the additional pictures. Guess I can't say it's never been driven in the rain.

Three Wheelin'
Solo,
Your car looks like a monster!
Tell me about that intercooler setup, it looks like a wild setup...and very efficient, too, I bet.
How wide are your wheels with those flares?

Nordschleife Master
6:30am, leaving Vancouver on my way to Abbotsford to meet up with other Porsches for a roadtrip to the Okanagan.
Whats that yellow thing in my mirror?
Oh ****! It's the MoteC 968!
10 min later, I catch up to the MoTeC beside my friend Lance's 86 951. (rennlister "K27")
Lance's car had stalled on him. It turned out to be his reference sensors.
Unfortunately, that is the last photo anyone ever took of Lance's 86 951. About 10 min after that photo, it went head on into a concrete divider while trying to avoid rear-ending a semi. The rest of the Porsches continued on, while I stuck around with Darcy to help out Lance. After the tow truck came, it was just me and the 968 all the way to Osooyoos. (a 5+ hour drive from Vancouver!!!)
So we reach Ossooyoos around noon, and catch up to the other Porchees.
And then we spent some extra time hanging out, me getting a ride and experiencing a 5th gear burnout!!! hahaha
And then we drove all the way back to Vancouver, just the two of us. I think it was an 16 or 18 hour day... My first PCA road trip!!! Yep, the MoTeC 968 got me hooked on 944/968s...

Hey Solo, nice car
I have that excellence issue.
This was one of the first to enter the new frontier of 3 liter turbos, back a few years ago.
You gotta do something about that IC setup, though, honestly. It's more like an "interheater".
You gotta plumb it like 944turbos, maybe with a lindsey unit or something.

Tommy: According to the article with the fans on the intercooler and the ducting the unit apparently cools fairly well. There is an inlet and outlet temp sensor with a gauge mounted in the dash. Unfortunately one of the sensors isn't working so I wasn't able to see myself what the temp differences were. At the moment all I plan to do with the intercooler is perhaps seal it to the hood and change the routing on the plumbing from the turbo so that the pipes don't rub against the heat sheilding around the exhaust manifold.

I tried taking some interior shots that showed off the new sill plates that I bought but they all look horrible. The lighting was terrible (too dark) and if I used the flash everything was over exposed. I'm going to try and put some floor lights on the car and see if I can get some interior shots. Stay tuned.
