What damage can bad motor mounts do?
The motor mounts on the turbo are shot (per the PPI my dad had when he bought it). I'm debating getting them fixed, but may not be able to for a while. I know to go with OEM instead of aftermarket, because they last longer, but what can happen if I don't fix it? any major damage? thanks!

If left long enough a really bad vibration can contribute to the dreaded oil pick-up tube crack and will accelerate cracking of the 951 headers. Bad PO but at least he was up front and told you.

-let it go long enough you could have other problems as well...

When I bought mine the driver's side mount had collapsed such that the turbo water pump and the throttle-return spring were resting against the brake reservoir shield. Maybe mine was just extreme, but that can't be good.
One of the heat shields on the cat had also vibrated loose, possibly due to the abnormal vibrations of the system.
Anyway, after having them replaced the car was soooo much smooother. It was like a whole new car
