Do those chips exist???? I use the power perfect MAF aka as LR digital maf, I have 4 ***** of adjusment and when connected to my notebook it's 64 points of adjustment. ,I can make the fine tuning but it will require for me to upload the map, then after tuning downloaded back to the eprom. What are you talking about chips that adjust to whaever level ??? who sells them?

I know 951MAXX are and I am pretty sure Vitesse do as well.

Turn up the boost and the a/f stays constant. To the limit of the fuel system.

I know myself and others with the 951MAXX chips can adjust the boost and the a/f stays about .2-.3 on target.

But even my GURU chips were set to run 18psi on pump. 20% for 19psi is way over kill

Which explains why you turning it up to 23psi had no ill efects due to running a 20% mix.

I dont know if you have a afm, but i have a vitesse MAF, and that will always keep the a/f ratio constant, which is great, as i have EBC to often switch from 10, 15 or 18 psi.

Great story lart!! I'm glad your motor held in place, that would have ruined your thanksgiving. But at least you would have gone down in flames. Lets here some 928 kill stories next lol!

Are you loco in la cabeza? I can't say anything about Russell's chips for I've never used them. But there has been a lot of posts giving nothing but great praises.

As for me, I've used John's chips for my old 3.0L. As other people have stated, with his chips, the A/F remains on the money regardless of the PSI level you run. And I can validate this statement because Special Tool and I ran tons, and tons of datalogs on my car. We used the ZT-2 to monitor it too. Great tool.

I've run 28psi on my Vitesse kit, and the AFR were still where it should be (Logged with ZT-2).

I agree on the new benchmark for chip tunning to be around 20psi rather than 15. No one runs 15 anymore.

Hell i've run 20 for 4 years now

Does that make me a girly-man at 18psi? Maybe I need to "un-tuck" myself and crank the **** another 1/4.....

I'm glad the car will be put to good use.

I'd rather see it recycled than just be shredded for scrap metal.

If Luis can make good $ on it, then that's great. Unfortunately for me I just was not able to do anything with the car myself due to my location. I'm sure Luis will make a few dollars as there are a couple things on the car to sell. That Greddy Type S with the adapters has always been a favorite of mine. It's been on a few high horsepower 1.8T cars in the past. The 951 also has Guru chips and all the associated hardware. I hope the interior has some bits that are nice and sellable. The cd player is hopefully still in the car too, not that it's worth much....

Anyway, I hope Luis comes out good on this deal. I certainly appreciate his help with the car.

btw Luis, you like those Scoobies over at Dan's shop? They're not slow..... The Evo isn't bad either.

Let me know.

Tempting, but space is also my problem. And I'm in the middle of a shell game with the cars, another shell would be too confusing.

I have a piggy back, I adjust my a/f accordinly to my boost level. So what you guys are trying to tell me is that if I had the vitesse chips, I could bump the boost from 19psi to 23psi without making any adjustment to the a/f ratio? Can someone confirm that this is possible?

You've got to be kidding me Luis? This is new to you? I refuse to believe you never heard this "ever" before? No way, I don't buy it?! This is sooooooo old it's not even funny. People have known this for a long, long time about the Vitesse Chips.
