Got these babies in the mail today, have a lot of work to do in order to use them on my car though. There are 8 throttle blades, mounting is a mess, as is attaching them to anything (velocity stack or plenum wise), TPS is going to be interesting, and there is a ton of stuff to remove. Hoping to have the new intake done by next Sunday or so. Also have a set of Euro pistons coming in from Duke, combined with a milled head, we'll see how high we can get compression
Mike you are definently thinking outside of the box! sweet Dude!

Dropped off that NA parts car at the scrap yard nice to have another spot in the driveway back

Unfortunetly I left my ITB's at Chris' place, so I guess I'll have to go back to collect my toy at some point, damn.

Theres just a couple of bearings in it. The bearings could be replaced, but probably dont need it.

Heh, tell that to my torque tube, or TRP951's. They can and do fail, I think there is a lot of people out there who have shot or near shot torque tubes but just assume it is their throwout bearing as the majority of noise is at idle with your feet off the pedals.

I dont suspect much in the line of updates on this for a month or so (maybe the new intake that's about it). Picked up an LS1 I'm swapping into my 5 series.

Regarding the torque tube, my rear most bearing was shot at 61k miles. You can hear it rattling faintly at idle. Push the clutch in and it goes away. I localized the sound with a car on the lift.. coming from just before the flange on the torque tube. If you do compression braking from high RPM you can hear it 'scratch and rattle'. Bring it up to 5k+ rpm it sounds like a couple of pebbles in a coffee can. I just turned 91k miles sunday night and it hasnt gotten worse or better.

To my knowledge, the bell housings bolt up, as does the coupler. You need axles, crossmember, and shifter rod. I'll know for sure in a few weeks.

correction I almost positive its just the driverside axle, and I think you might need the linkage. John at vitesse knows what you need

Velocity stacks are here, but seeing as how my DSLR is dead..... (In all seriousness I'm really upset about this).

I'm not sure when I'll be posting photos next.
