Chris:

Excellent example of our cars! Hell, if that was in red and I didn't buy mine already, I'd be all over it like white on rice.

Wow. Those are low miles. From those pictures, the paint looks really good to for being original.

I paid 26.5k for my 89 turbo five years ago. It had 18k on it, triple black, 100% stock. At the time, the under carriage still looked virtually new. Freshened the belts, fluids etc. was like a new car. I'm glad to see others selling for a comparable price.

Interestingly, I bought it from a guy named Rex Ecoff. He said he collected this car after he retired from racing the 944 turbos because he enjoyed them so much. Told me when the turbo was initially developed, seven went to north America, each with a Porsche mechanic. Ecoff got two of them and said GM developed a car to compete against the turbo. Consistently, GM won on courses with more straights and the turbo won courses with more turns.

Damn thing just up and disappreared from eBay around 10:30 tonight. The seller had an H2 and a boat for sale too, all are gone. I was prepared to buy that 951...

Sent an email to the seller, now am waiting on a reply as to what happened to the car. Will respond here as soon as I get a reply.
