Default some vitesse stage 3 pics

well i finally got around to installing the vitesse stage 3 kit (which i have had sitting in our shop for the past few months). fairly simple to install, only took a day, that was with a clutch job as well. it is amazing, straight out of the box it ran first crank, which i expected. drove it around for a while off boost to let the turbo seals seat. and finally got on it... the power is amazing. i dont think it even has any more lag then my k26/6, but it just pulls all the way to redline. and the surge is just addictive. oh and the sound is great...

i wasnt keen on where the cone air filter went so today i cut up some stainless bends, welded and used some silicone hose and put the air filter in the inner guard. i still have some polishing to do on the pipes too. i have no dyno figures yet but i will post them up when i have them.

I'll attest to the sound and power. Both increased!

Good on ya Jet, congratulations!

I like the relocation of the filter out of the engine bay but aren't you concerned about injesting water with it in that location?

You guys are crazy-I hardly noticed any additional power with my Vitesse products.

na im not too worried about water, the picture is with the splash guard out, which went back in of course. but i will be making up an air box to hold a micron filter and have the inlet towards the front with water drains in it, that is when i get around it. the only problem is that the petrol(or as you say 'gas') bill has gone up because i cant stop driving the car...

I know that feeling with the gas bill going up! When I put my MAF in I just couldn't help but get on it quite a bit! A 3" cat bypass with the MAF is just an awesome sound!!

i like your cold air intake. do you think there is any restriction with it being so close to the body panel?

Default Thanks

Thanks Edge. And thanks Eospeed for the bump. I'm working on a sealed box as well. My car is track only with a headlight delete panel (don't need the headlights) so I have more room than most.
Edge, I think we may be neighbours.
