ST: 28 PSI for a few thousand? Make sure you use tons of Xylene!

"kay - all bugs worked out. Ran stronger than it EVER has just now.
It was throwing me back (hard) into the seat in 5th from 100-150 - this at only 22-23 psi (low boost)."

Wow...
If you ever want to work some magic on my 951, let me know

Thanks Guns
28psi is your test drive setting!? I hit 24.5psi yesterday on 100 octane, and I thought that was a lot... (Been tweeking for more boost up top -- found it!)

God's honest truth.
I am really checking the head.

I do not now EVER change lanes on the highway with full throttle in ANY gear, I wait until I am in the left lane with steering wheel absolutely straight , then put it down.

Very Impressive!!

2 questions, how do you like the zetronix wide band and what fuel pump are you using to support all that power? Is it the "044" Bosche fuel pump?

The Zeitronix has done everything I ever needed it to.

Bosch 044, yes.

thanks for the super quick reply!
Sorry for the dumb question on the fuel pump, such a long thread, I found where you posted your specs.

At 28 lbs I'd be running at least 100 or higher race gas! I've been looking at alchy injection kits to help too!

He is one of the few that pushses his car to the egde a lot. And he uses Xylene all the time too, so octane levels aren't an issue ever, trust me.

[QUOTE=special tool]Yeah 2-3 weeks.
Gonna do a few thousand miles at 28psi first just to doublecheck, and get a little good-luck charm from TurboTim.....

What kind of xlene ratio are you using for 28psi? You must be buying 55 gal. drums to really make it worth while.

That's funny - I just faxed a construction estimate to a DEA agent 2 hours ago.

They use tolene, not xylene.

I know off topic, kind of.. but ST when you put in xylene into your tank do you just put the amount you use in then fill up the rest with gas to mix it? You ever worry about it seperating at all? Also, I heard about that xylene is not friendly on our fuel lines, have anything to add/say about that?
