you should have the video pan from the car on the dyno to the screen with the read out with out cutting. Your last video ws very choppy and added no credibility to your previous claim. What is your goal this time I have lost track? Good luck can't wait to see what happens.

He is very technologically challenged, hence, why he needs someone to help him with that stuff. Hopefully TurboX will do a good job for him, this time!

Luis: What the hell is with that list of cars under your signature? Is that your "car fleet?"

I'm a sad panda......

Wasn't in the cards today.
396 at 18 psi (honest 18 psi)
477 at 24 - but head lifting again.

At 28 psi, it lifted so badly that it burst the heater hose behind the head.
This is with Porsche studs and mls.
Drove the car home - runs perfectly.

The biggest hurdle to making big power (with a 944) is keeping the head on.
NOT the 8 valve head, some of you guys planning a 16 valve head - WAIT TILL YOU SEE WHAT HAPPENS TO YOU IF YOU TRY TO MAKE REAL POWER!!!!

So what changed since your 543/571 run? What boost level was that at?

Maybe the old turbo didn't build boost quite as fast as the new one that's why he could reach more power without head lifting?

Can you get Lart to sit on the head next time?

Sorry man. Why not try racewares at 90 ft lbs.? If that doesn't hold it, perhaps a nice deck plate and over-sized studs.

There's still time to switch out those head studs before the end of the year!

lol, seriously I am not tech but his head handle more power before and there was no lifting, now he is building boost more violently maybe that’s why the head is lifting. Unless the head is warped?

Stock torque methods?

Interesting - raceware or something else must be tried. Anyone ever broken one?

Deck plate? You mean to make it a closed deck correct? Is there a company that makes this piece? Performance Developments I have heard but couldn't find anything on their site.

You can see compression shoot out FROM UNDER THE HEAD on the video.

Pretty crazy.

The dfference between last run (543/571) is the turbo and gasket.
You can see the head lift in this old run on the video - it shot out the expansion tank, and I drove it home also. This time, I shimmed the cap, and I burst the hose.

I will now begin the planning to solve the real problem wth high hp 951's.......

I though you had done runs in the past at 28psi and no issues??

I assume the head lifting greatly drops the hp results???

But even at 18psi you made less this time than the last time at 18psi right??

The last time was at 19psi and he got roughly the same numbers.
