Finally got around to putting the plates on the car today so i could take it for a test drive. Car runs great but even after the rebuild and installing an oil resticter the SOB still smokes under boost.
At this point I am about ready to sell the damn thing as I cannot afford to throw any more money into it. Really can't understand why the thing did not smoke at all when I first installed the turbo since now it smokes even with the restrictor installed.
I really can't see me driving this thing on a regular basis if it is going to spew oil smoke out of the exhaust ever time I get on boost.

what kind of chips are you running? Also are you running a catch can? Is it routed back into the j boot or maf pipe? Make sure the AOS is routed to the j boot or maf pipe before the turbo to keep vacuum on the crankcase or your turbo wont drain right and the oil has to go somewhere

I am running Guru chips with a mafterburner to fine control the fuel. According to the wideband I am not running rich under boost. All runs were done under partial throttle.
Not running a catch can at this time. I have one but did not install it as last time it made no difference. Guess I can install tomorrow and see if it makes any difference. AOS is routed to the stock posistion on the J boot at the moment as I have yet to install the MAF.

I am a little concerned about going any smaller. I find it hard to believe that even under 60+ psi of oil pressure that a .080 hole can flow enough oil to flood the turbo instantly under partial boost.

Checked the car out againj this morning and it took me all of about 2 minutes to figure out what the problem was. All I am going to say is that it was my own stupidity! Turbo now works great. I am able to hit 17+ psi in 3rd gear at part throttle. Have not tried any full throttle runs yet as I am still trying to fine tune the part throttle maps along with burning off all the old oil that is still in the exhaust.
