Default Custom header panel Ideas

Ill finish this car someday....

So im working on my custom header panel. The vent more specifically. Ill be going with a split vent. It is centered between the top and bottom, Right now it looks like the AIR one id say. But ive always kinda thought what if the vent extended downward all the way to the top of the bumper?(but there would be a thin piece just above the bumper to keep some rigidity in the header panel.) Even thought about integrating the header panel and the bumper so that the top of the bumper would be the bottom of the bumper and it would look a lot cleaner, but i think i want to keep the header panel separate for accessibility and simplicity.

Also while im at it... What do you guys think about the angle/flat, on the front part of the nose panel? (the part that the vents are cut into) I always wondered what these cars would look like if the profile of the car didnt have that "step"
Im sort of thinking maybe, while im at it, I might just "smoothen out" that step and put a nice big radius.

Chat it up!

Do it for looks if you want to, if you want to increase IC efficiency it is better to vent the hoos and channel the escape air from the intercooler. It is already well ducted on the front.

Oh I already am doing a custom hood with the exhaust vent too, but from everything ive ever read from people who have done tests the header panel vents DO, work.

I'd love to see some of this reading too please. Is it in a compiled state? I know my research isn't well organized to say the least...

I've seen pics of the 968 turbo RS, there easy enough to find on internet, I've also seen louvers stamped in the hood that looked pretty cool too.

sorry, didnt notice they were yours, Guess its fine for a track only car but im going for the best thing i can come up with. and make it look great for a street car too. Ill have to naca ducts simillar, but bigger than the ones on the 968 TRS, but inside the Ridgelines on the hood, and exhuast vents right on the firewall. I dont want to show any pics till im done, i just dont like to show stuff half way done.
