Hello I have had problems with my car. I hadve an 86' with maf and chips. I have just installed the guru map kit, and ditched my old maf kit. The problem is the car will not run with the guru ignition chip. I have a guru chip for the maf and the map but neither will allow the car to get spark. I had this problem with the maf and ran the stock ignition chip and it ran fine. After installing the map and a new guru ignition chip the same thing it will only run with the stock chip. The chip is not in backwards so what is up?? Do I have two bad guru ignition chips? could my timing be off and the chip just wont let it start. I am going to try an autothority chip tomorrow but any help would be greatly appreciated.

The KLR handles knock control & boost control. If you are habdling boost control externally, no CV. Then install the stock KLR chip.

I know that I have dealt with him before. he refunded my money on my chips ect. and sent them to me anyway.

 

Guru Racing as far as I know doesn't exist anymore.

I think I got your money lart... $2k Had to wait 1.5 years to get it back from the MAP kit I never received. I am now glad it never shipped.
