Default Intercooler up grade made by Autobahn Garage in NW Ohio

I just had my IC end cap redone by Autobahn Garage here in Findlay Ohio and it was done for a very good price. $150.00. Turn around time is one day, send him your's and the new IC will be shipped the same day. I will take a few shots of it and send to any interested. If you read up on the LR and SFR web site you will see it makes the IC flow much better and does away with the restructed end. For you Steeler's Fans Ben Rothlesburger is from Findlay and we watched him play in HS.

Yea, let me know because I would REALLY like to get this done as well to the car. For $150 I would like to see what kind of job they can do and what they expect to gain compared to real life gain. If I do go this route I could do some back to back test with it from spool and increase on MAX boost with my MBC still set the same value. I am only guessing a small increase anyways from this upgrade, but would still like to see what, if any.

According to some of the vendors by doing this we will increase the flow and the velocity. This end cap is a choking point for the air flow. LR has some solid number's for ther end cap change. There cost is $375.00 for this mod but they do have a cast piece that is welded on. He will be making another IC after we change out mine so when he recives yours the upgraded one will get shipped the same day.

Autobahn Garage is owned and operated by Tab Tanner the local PCA President. His number is

didn't skunkworkz put a LR modded IC on a flow bench and have it flow LESS?

Kevin, No mods needed to install it, all mounting locations are the same. This was the 1st one made kind of the trial horse. It is pretty much a copy of some of the other's being sold by Vendors but at a better price. Grove City is just a 1 1/2 drive and could be installed on the spot.

Yea I know it's close. That's why this is so tempting. Is this a limited time offer or will they be offering this for some time? I wish I had a spare intercooler so that I could do a back to back dyno run with this.

that's is correct I also saw better hp's numbers when I replaced my $ 595.00 LR stg II intercooler for the stock one.

No this is not a special offer this is just the price. He fabs it right in the shop. As soon as I get mine changed out he will have one ready to be shipped. He has not flow tested it to get exact number's but since the restricted end on the IC is opened up I could only make more flow with a faster velocity.
