Lindsey fuel rail worth the price? Or any used rails FS?
My fuel systems recently developed some leaks: fuel leak between the damper and the line that connect it to the fuel rail; possible fuel leaks on the rail itself; and leaks on the injector seals on the intake manifold. My pressure regulator was just upgraded to a 3.0 bar Bosch one. To prevent fire destroying my car, I can think of two options.
Option 1: buy used rail($70), new damper to rail line($70), new damper($50), new fuel lines($110) = total cost ~$350, can be more. And the used replacement rail may leak again.
Option 2: Buy Lindsey Racing fuel rail kit for $600. I will get a completely sold rail and a adjustable fuel pressure regulator. And I will pay $250 more then the first option.
I am also going to get the adjustable solid engine mount($140 per pair) from Lindsey. From Clark's Garage, "The spec for a new mount is 70+/- 1 mm. The height between bearing surfaces on an installed mount should not be less than 60 mm. " So when mounting the engine 10mm lower for a lower CG, it is still within the factory spec. Will a pair of solid mounts do damages to the car? I don't mind the vibrations.

I have been thinking about going the same route. I want to replace my fuel lines when I put my car back together, but I'm not impressed with the factory design. I would also be buying LR's adjustable FPR, so add those parts up and I am also just a couple of hundred away from the price of LR's replacement rail kit. Add the high volume fuel pump and pressure gauge, and I doubt I'd ever suffer a fuel-related issue...
I just wish they had a non-bling option, I'm not a fan of that rainbow of colors under my hood.

LR is not a sponsor and you're not a member. However, if a member asks permission for a group buy from a non site sponsor and provided the vendor is willing to do it, it is usually granted as long as permission is asked. We did a group buy on the rail when it came out, we had 20 IIRC.
The noise is the pulsation by the fuel pump because it is putting so much more fuel through the system, the rail has a larger opening. You offset this by a rubber hose in the fender well area, and yes they may have done something with Marren on the dampner, not sure; also make sure your fuel line is not hitting the body anywhere in the rear of the car.
