Lindsey fuel rail worth the price? Or any used rails FS?

I'll edit the price list above to what my actual (approximate) numbers will be:
2' of -10 rail stock - $24+S&H
Remaining fuel lines and fittings needed - $80-120 (probably an over-estimate)
Thats where I got the ~$150 number
The rest of the parts I already have, but should be factored in for comparison to the complete LR kit:
Labor by me - $0
AFPR w/pressure line & fittings - $80 from lister
As for the dampener, the -10 AN rail stock should go a long ways at eliminating the problem. Worse case is I just add one if its still there. Marren dampeners (I think thats what LR uses) are $110 brand new from the source...

Also, I'm not bashing the LR kit in the slightest. Definitely a good deal to those that don't have access or interest in making their own. Looks to be a very well made kit.

Sorry, slow typer.
Buy the time you source everything and machine the rail and legs etc.. You will have a ton of time invested.
You can stay at home drink your favorite drink and order on the phone(not leaving the couch) and a nice box will arrive and all you have to do is bolt it on.
Milling the rail for injectors is a slow setup. They can't be drilled. The ends can be drilled but then you have to thread them(large pipe dyes, more costs if you don't have them)
I don't want to talk you out of a project but I already have 2 built at home rails. It took alot of time.

Perhaps I can pay in full, get the rail first and get the discount refunded when the GB is complete.

I was in the first group buy. It's a quality piece and addressed my concerns with the factory rail. My stock rail just didn't seem that solid probably due to the numerous times it had been removed...about a dozen times by me alone. The LR piece is solid and gives me piece of mind from the thought of an engine fire...add the braided lines and it's pretty much bullet proof...so far

I'm really glad i decided to get in on the GB, because tonite i went for a very short drive .75 mile. about 30-40 minutes after i got home, i went to go check the vacuum hoses (i replaced them earlier today) to make sure everything. The fuel rail was still scorching hot. I'd heard from others about the heat these things make but never really paid any attention until tonight.

I have a brand new reg I got from John. I also would like just plain Aluminum
I am not really big on the color stuff
I also fell in love with Vic's fuel lines he made up for Tom M'Guinn
They are the black nylon stuff really nice
So I guess it's the kit or nothing ?
