Ok how do the turbos compare, lets say Gt 25, gt30r, gt35r vs vitesse stage 2, 3?

Discuss what? You don't have any specs for either.. I'm sure you won't ever get the specs on the VR turbo's(wheel, trim, etc..).

I can say, GT's non bolt on, VT's bolt on. Gt's lower actual turbo to turbo price. Not fab work to mount it.

What else? lol..

SFR sell the kit to make the GT series "bolt on" if you are interested. You can customise the GT series a little easier as you are dealing with AR's you know. You can also get a 4" inlet with the GT turbos though you will need to address the intake fitment for that.

Been there, done that and love my GT30. It has the 4 inch inlet and I had custom reducers built to make it fit. Chris Cervelli developed the GT30 and GT25 bolt-on setups but he no longer deals in 944 turbo's.
A GT25 would be a nice setup for a 2.5 and a GT30 for a 3.0.

What exactly are you looking to compare? What are your goals? The Vitesse St2 and St3 are 2 different setups.

You could easily go for a GT30R on a 2.5 (3" inlet and .63 exhaust AR). The GT35R would also work if you were looking for max HP. I would think the GT25 would be a little on the small side unless its a street only kind of setup without high HP goals.

lets go stage3 because thats the one i'm really looking at, i went back thru a couple posts with people who used gt30s. Didn't really see around what rpm it spooled up, but how does the gt35r and gt30's perform with the 2.5 motors? Like what number can i expect going with a gt30/35 setup?, is there more lag than using vitesse? spool up time?. Like i mean I can just look to a couple posts like special tool and see he's already kickin 533rwhp with a stage 3

The GT35R will support more HP than the S3. Though how much are you looking at making? It really needs to be goal related. I know an EVO 2.0 making over 1000WHP with 2 GT35R turbo's. I know another FJ20 Turbo with a GT35R single turbo making 600WHP at 30psi. Plenty of Jap guys run the GT30/35R turbo's on 2.0's. Though generally they have more efficient heads... apples and oranges. The 2.5 944 is not undersized for a GT35R turbo in the right config.

Based on discussions with people running the GT series on a 2.5L 951, the Vitesse turbos spoolup faster. And I know for a fact that they will outperform.... Vitesse customers have the proof, let's see what people with other turbos are making.
When comparing turbos some of the things to consider:
- Ease of install: does it bolt up, or you have to modify the exhaust
- Performance: Real life numbers matters not some hypothetical number
- Spoolup: Again real life data here. Not just that "well BB turbos spoolup faster" BS.
- Reliability and ease of rebuild if needed
- Cost: the initial cost is not all there is to it.. When you have to modify your exhaust plan on spending some time and $$$.
- Risk factor: do you want a proven product that works on your 951 or do you want to spend the time and effort to try something else that may or may not work?

Do your homework before you spend your $...

haha thats why i'm on here. And really bb is something that doesn't get my attention since thats more so for like tryin to inch out the power and plus they dont hold up as long as non-bb turbos (so i've heard), but coming back to the block, how much can it hold.

just really tryin to weigh all my options, price everything out on a limited budget (hey im only 22), and pretty much see what is the max that i can get out of this car while still tryin to compete in the gts series

Are you talking about a fresh bottom end or a 150k mi bottom end? It would make know sense to try to get big hp numbers with an old high mi motor.

What mods do you have done to your car?

Interesting topic.

Let's also do comparisons of power level using PUMP gas.

no mods, thats why i'm tryin to research all of this. Once I got all the parts in, the engine would get a fresh rebuild. And i'm not really going for like that big numbers like someone else (special tool haha) so no where over 550, for the time being
