on the street this car will see full boost under 5000 RPM
826 AWHP!!! and 597 Ft/ lbs! that was on 42 psi on C16 just like the car would sit on the street!
I wonder how Special Tool's car would be doing @ 42psi and C16

There is and 850+BHP (@wheels) evo here but the 'standard' FQ400 needs a service every 3k miles how long will it last?

Yes - THANK YOU, for posting this.
There are a few people on this board who are living life in the 1970's still.
This is a good wake up call.
I bet a couple of the insane ones will call bull**** on this Evo's output, however.

I wonder what a 951 16 valves built for boost would produce at 8500 rpm..

I'm not one of them...seen 885 hp- Nissan 200SX'es... at 48 psi on race. That is,16V,2020cc's worth of fully built,no-nosense,kickass engine. That 2-litre runs a GT42R....with 22psi at 4700rpm,from what I hear.

Didn't Doom II have 540 hp at 14psi..? Make it a 3-litre 16V and 4-digit numbers are possible on race...with ease. Even a bigvalved 3-litre 8V should make 700+ at pump given the right setup...

when you launch at 5k and shift at over 8k it dont matter.

honestly most people are in the dark when it comes to whats out there.

they think their measly 350-400hp is alot. It aint.

roll call these days starts at 500hp and go's up from there.

hell my buddy's rx7 with his new tune on pump gas now pulls several cars on me easily.

oh we wont talk about his high boost setting I couldnt stay in his zip code.

In the big cities were there is money there are alot of high hp machines out there. our dated 80's porsche technology might be fast compared to some bs GT mustang but, they are slow pigs. Against anything newer with real power our cars cant compete.

So we then take it to the track and see if they can drive. hahaha 951's own the road course

heh.
an engine is an engine is an engine.
if a 2.3L evo can do it a 2.5L 951 can do it...

stick the turbo on the exhaust side. tune intake manifold. rework head. big *** turbo. good intercooler..race gas.. tuned exhaust.. VERY HIGH BOOST. reworked internals and you have an 800hp 951...

everycar has a part that can be reworked to make more power. its not like ST's car is the limit... i bet he....hell..he prolly IS already working on making his car faster.

agreed but, very few people have the money or the dedication to put that into a 944. Most people wouldnt see the value.

St's car makes good power and with the weight of it I even consider his car fast. But, I have to tell ya he is one of the few 951's on here I would consider to be fast.

even with my planned upgrades my car wont be fast. I just hope to make enough power to be able to hold my head level thats it. This car will never be a high hp monster.

Now I have high hopes for rolex's car. I think with his motor and vitesse products, jim's tuning and install his car has serious potential.

he should be all over 600hp and with high high boost levels who knows.

I wouldnt mind seeing a 951 with 700hp driven on the street...maybe someday we will see that sort of thing.

For right now 400hp in the 951 world is alot and pretty much in the 1% cream of the crop bracket.

St with his 533rwhp is prolly the highest and fastest street 951 I have ever hered of in history period.......and even he would get walked badly by some single turbo supra on race gas.

So like i said its all relative. As long as its fast to you...and you like it. Nothing else matters. I still re iterate the 951 owns the road course. Thats where our cars really shine and destory cars that make alot more hp.
