On second thought, that sounds like a better idea!! Death to all vendors that have had any problems with customers! Err, wait... Then there would be no more vendors...

If customers can get no response from a vendor after days, weeks, or months after multiple attempts, then the vendor deserves nothing less than being judged in a public forum such as this. It's their choice... fix the problem or get a bad reputation and lose potential future customers.

So this is a debate on not calling out poor vendors?

Are SFR and Broadfoot Racing in some kind of internet black hole? Sooo, they are unable to offer an explanation as to why the **** poor customer service? Maybe they don't know or forgot about Rennlist?

These cars are problematic enough to work on without the added complication and headaches of being ripped off for parts!

If there are vendors out there screwing people over; I'd want to know about them but hey maybe that's just me?

PS... No one is perfect, problems can always arise, the good guys take the extra step to make things right!

Just saying.

However it's also worth thinking about how tough it is for a niche business these days, and although they may not be perfect, that they are there for our needs, and without them, we often simply cannot get access to the goods and services they provide.

All I'm saying is I've had a good experience with SFR. None with Broadfoot. It doesn't seem to me Tim(SFR) was out to screw me over when buying parts from him. I spoke to him on the phone about what I wanted and all was good.

I agree that if multiple people continuously get screwed over by the same vendor, then yes, I would likely go with someone else. Just like hearing the rep from Broadfoot; perhaps I won't go with them for stuff, but I wouldn't have a problem ordering something through SFR if need be, based on MY own experience, not anyone else's.

I am always wary of fist time posters accusing vendors, can you prove your statement? I had a guy posting on the pelican forums for the first time accusing me of selling a defective line, if it wasn't because he gave his identity away by posting a picture of a burned car that he had for sale in parts on ebay (mike homocan aka damiza318 aka pre****cion motor sports) some people would have believe the lame attack to ruins someone reputation.

PorrshaNo he bought 1 turbo from them. Suppose to be perfect and rebuilt it was far from it.

Lart- I agree with what you say but this is first hand not through the rumor mill. Could it be an honest mistake ? who knows but when you have bad press already the common business sense says be very careful of what goes out . Try and change the bad reputation . I guess at the very least they have no business sense.

You're right, Luis. Broadfoot is a great company.
