Default Fuel rail hose repair help

How'd you guys replace that short hose to the fuel dampener? I cant seem to find fuel hose with a 90 degree bend in it. I'm afraid if I just use the straight stuff it'll kink when I go to bend it when mounting. Mine looks to be original and ready to blow anytime.

The dealer wants an incredible $140 for it!

I should have been clearer - I'm referring to the short hose coming from the dampener back to the rail with a 90 degree bend in it. It doesnt look like you changed yours from the picture. I have SFR SS main fuel lines taht work fine. Thanks for the help

I just used SS hose long enough to make a smooth curve, with quality clamps on each end.

I think that's a great idea. David, do you happen to recall the internal diameter of the line? -I'm sure Summit would have it

I'll check BAT to see what the correct fittings cost, I have a section of -6 left over that would fit perfectly.

But first, the MAF....

Summit racing has a 3 foot section of -6 SS hose for about $15. BTW, what are the fitting sizes for the main fuel lines? - I should probably replace the chintsy SFR connectors with some real ones while I'm in there.

For anyone else following this thread I found out that a female 16mm x 1.5 thread AN fitting coupled to a straight hose adapter will work to "legitimize" the connection to the fuel pressure dampener which is the high pressure side. $15 at Bat. SFR SS line is a -8 to the dampener. They also sell heavy duty hose clamps for -6 and -8 SS hose at about $4 per.

For the record, if one is planing on replacing that hose with OEM, the recall should cover it free of charge.
