Next oil change, i am going for Shell 15w-50. It is the only 15w-50 grade available in the market, here anyway.

Back on topic......
So, I have been using Mobile 1 for years. I thought that there was no change other than the packaging and name on the full synthetic stuff. Now I am totally confused. Has someone actually identified what is different and if the "new" Mobile 1 synthetic does not lubricate as well as the "old"? My car uses at most a 1/2 quart between oil changes (every 3K, overkill for some I know) and that is with many, many hard autox runs. Or is this only a concern for you boosted guys?

For some reason beyond my current level of education, I believe that syntethic tends leak more. I don't know if it's due to the age of some of the gaskets or the viscosity it self. But what do I know.
