I used a segment of reducing hose. The end on lindseys catch can is ~ 1 inch (or more?). ....The nipple on the moroso should be 5/8" like was mentioned.

Pep boys (at least online) carries a variety of breather caps, such as this Mr. Gasket one:

(this one appears to be lower profile than the Moroso 68781) Search for "breather caps"

I'll go to the local store and check it out today.
