YAY! MORE PROBLEMS!
This time not with my project car thankfully. As most of you know I picked up CT_944's 951 project car earlier this year. Well, I replaced all the belts, did the factory AC delete, replaced some suspension stuff, did Paragon's 15 piece gasket set (new cam tower, headgasket, etc). I've repaired the headlight equiptment to almost perfect condition and got the car running again last week, along with a host of other little random thing. Unfortunetly now that it's running the rear main seal has started leaking like crazy, and the oil cooler seals are completely shot. Time to drop an engine! Anyway, any suggestions, tips etc, before I start ripping into this?
Btw, the car will be for sale when it's back up and running, and has had the front end resprayed (and the scrape near the tail-light expertly repaired). Someone is going to get a WELL sorted car (as I've done damn near every 951 general maintenance item).

I would not drop the engine to do a rear main – sneak up on it from behind…
As you know from your other project – the more stuff (wires and hoses) that you disturb the greater the chance of having to replace them.

Perfect, all right around 155 on a cold engine IIRC. The car will be in great shape once I'm done with this last batch of fixes, all major stuff replaced/repaired. When it's for sale someone is going to get a well sorted 951.
