Default Oil Temp Gauge (and others) Group Buy

Hi all,

Well, TurboX closed the interest poll for the egauges.com group buy and I have sent the level of interest to the vendor to determine the level of discount and logistics. Cross your fingers and let's see what we can get.

I'll keep you posted here for next steps.

Update guys - still waiting to hear back from egauges.com. It's taking a little longer than I expected to get this going, but let's see. I'm thinking that given the gauges are only $25-30, and the retailer is already a web retailer that undercuts others (like Summit Racing for example), their margins might be really small.

The first 5 temp sender drain plugs went out today - yahoo, only 58 more to go

I'm sending Paypal money requests as I work down the list and get them made. If any of you asked for one of these plugs, it would help me greatly if you would send me a PM with your paypal id so I'll have it when I need to send the payment request.

Thanks guys !!

EDIT: Also Mike S, I couldn't reach you - you are at the top of the list and I need your paypal id :-)

Another update....

Well, I'm not sure the gauge group-buy is viable. I will wait another day or two before shutting it down for good, but the vendor has been slow to return my communications, and thinking about it, these gauges are small ticket items and I doubt the discount would be more than a couple of dollars each anyway.

I am frantically building temp sender drain plugs :-) I have shipped the first 8, and have 4 more ready to go, and parts on hand to ship 6 more by end of the week, making 18 so far. Parts for the rest are on order and it may take a couple of weeks for them. Current order count from you guys is 63 !!

If any of you urgently want gauges, I suggest you order them yourself from egauges.com or summitracing.com or jegs.com. They all have them, and the price for the temp gauge is $25-28 depending on vendor.

Cheers !!
