You have good reason to worry, but the hood clasp is a spare I picked up along the way, as is the light bar. My plater will do just about any size batch for his min price ($65), so I took him just about every spare part I own -- including a sizeable collection of nuts and bolts, clamps, etc.
I've been eyeing that clasp -- how hard could it be to pop rivit in a new one...?

Thanks! I found the same rivets and popped it right in (no pun intended). Took 15 minutes max, including drilling out the old rivets.

Well, just installed the cam box and tensioned the belts. Not sure if it is the extra displacement or just new rings and bores, but the compression is noticably stronger than my tired 2.5. Getting very close to the big day...

Completely OT but I've got to ask as I've been thinking of doing the same.
How do you like the race deck flooring now that you have had it awhile? Does it work well with jacks etc. ?
How about cleanup?

No, honestly, I didn't. They were new Carrillo rods with build sheet weights. (I went to the Jerry Woods 911 class a few years back and he said he runs Mahles and Carrillos straight from the box, so I figured....) Also, Scott said the pistons were so close together, no point in trying to bore for the specific pistons....
