Yep, Mr. Slowsky here. The car was running great with the old motor until a few months ago when I pulled it for this one. As for plating, I think I have a plating problem... but its such a great way to make old greasy parts look brand spanking new with virtually no effort!

This is awesome good luck with it. What turbo are you going to be running? Also, what are you using for engine management?

My new goal it to finish mine before Tom. Maybe we should start a rennlist "who will stop procrastinating and get their 3.0L done first" pool.

He drilled the rivets on the hood clasp and did the turbo oil line too!

I am starting to worry about you again, Tom.

You have good reason to worry, but the hood clasp is a spare I picked up along the way, as is the light bar. My plater will do just about any size batch for his min price ($65), so I took him just about every spare part I own -- including a sizeable collection of nuts and bolts, clamps, etc.

I've been eyeing that clasp -- how hard could it be to pop rivet in a new one...?

Not at all -- definitely a driver. The plating is a cheap way to pass time while I wait for parts. I had an 85 911 that I took to local shows -- spent all my time cleaning the darn thing. I bought the 951 to drive.
