I found with the LR kit (it being a non-recirc type), that I was getting a LOT of oil in the canister. I guess it can't equalise the pressures between the AOS and air. As such, I actually run it open! Wheneve I top up the oil, I clse the tap, run her around the block and drain out the excess. It's not much though. The oil level in the car hasn't noticably changed in a couple of months, and the dipstick reads full, so I guess she doesn't drop that much oil. Pretty clean underneath too!

Damian in NJ: Had a Rolex on? I hope it is at least a Submariner? Gotta love the sub with the blue bezel face and gold!
David: I assume thats on your 2.8L too? If so, I would think it being a new rebuild that much oil shouldnt get in there anyway? But thanks for the tip. That helps me to guage things in the future

We drain the track car after every weekend. We get a several tablespoons of "milkshake", bit of oil and condensation, but this is when me and Jim are driving the car so it runs 8 sessions a day, this at TWS. We got more with Mobil 1 but we run Valvoline 20/50 racing now and it has cut down the oil a lot! One thing on the track car, we were getting some fumes since the plate on the seal on the hood is gone...Jim vented the hose back to the MAF and all is good now. At Hallet, there was hardly anything in at all when I got it home and checked.

I've had the tank on for a year and a half, and haven't gotten a drop out of it. Just a discolored filter on top.

Keep those bad time keeping crap pieces boys! I wear my Grandfather's 1943 Breitling Navitimer with the black face and gold everything. It survived 14 jap zekes...and still keeps PERFECT time. Thanks Gramps! Semper Fi!
Rolex...why do you not have your car now? Enough is enough. How much more time do they need?.. not a flame...a real question. been like 18 mos + right?

ehall: Good question! Why dont you be my PR person and contact LR? Honestly, they are almost done. Just finising touches. We added a LR name plate, chromed struct brace, and a few more little things. Car should be leaving there, I hope, in 3 /5 weeks. I hope sooner.

If I am going to have intake off to perform venturi delete/redo vac lines this would be the optimal time to hook one of these up right? Also with the intake off the AOS can come out easily? ie I should buy the (2x) seals for that, and is the consensus here to unbolt the AOS and drill out the opening prior to hooking up the breather tank? Thanks guys.
