My pops and I have worked on a system for his 911 for about 2 years now. We aren't at the point where the car is together to tune, but it ran on it. We are using an Electromotive Twin Plug setup for ignition so we have other issues to work with in a tuning sense. They did not have Mega Jolt out yet, but I think it would be a viable option for some.

I think the kit is powerful enough for most applications and somewhat easy to use. If you like to tinker, assemble your own kit. I'd also say that this is a kit for someone who has time to sort it out themselves. There is not a ton of usable information on the Yahoo lists.. but enough to get you going.

Awesome! I was considering starting a thread about this a few weeks ago. I want to make this a summer project. Does anyone know of any megasquirted 951s running around?

I think Sam Lin said he had a few running, triggering is an obvious issue. Not sure how Sam said he overcame it. But I suspect it needs a cam trigger installed.

mS is a fuel controller that can now also control spark with stuff like Ford's EDIS systems. The fuel is batch, so there is no need for crank pickup, just a rpm signal, usually from the coil(s). The EDIS needs a ford 36-1 or whatever toothed wheel, and only that one. It has yet to work for me on my V-8, but it will. The toothed wheel is a problem, so I am making a pulley to put it on.

I've been kicking around the idea of using the extra MS I have at home on my 944 (non-turbo). Maybe if I go through with a t-bird supercharger or some ITBs. I'd use it for fuel-only on the non-turbo, and probably a boosted engine as well, since the knock sensing capabilities of the MS aren't fully up to par yet.
