Mac - I have about 89,000 on stock block. Headgasket is STOCK, NOT WIDEFIRE, NOT O-RING. It is 3 years old and has been through 100's of dyno pulls and 15 80-lap track days. The tuning and timing makes a difference, here.

How are you controlling boost? Do you dial it down at the track usually?

How can you run 25psi on a stock motor with 89k miles? Am I missing something...I thought anywhere north of 20psi was asking for trouble with the stock headgasket and compression...
Very impressive numbers....when do you reach full boost with the Vitesse Stage 3? (quick -spool turbo or not?)
Thanks

Congratulations! I have the exact same turbo coming and I can't wait. On your second run with pump gas settings were you still running the race fuel mixture or did you drain the tank and fill up with pump gas?
Or better yet, did you do the pump gas run first and then mix in the race fuel for the race map? I have the same mods as you with the exception of the cam. What do you think the cam did for you?

Solo - all runs were wth 60/40 race/pump fuel. I have 2 maps switchable on the dash.
When I run the pump map timing, in essence it becomes a pump fuel run because the timing is VERY retarded on B map, and it cannot take advantage of higher octane.
4% drop in power from race timing to pump timing.

Thank you guys for the compliments, and many thanks for ST for not going to 30psi (yet
).
The Stage 3 turbo is very efficient, the MAP is just awesome! The hot housing had to be addressed as well not to create backpressure.
Next on the agenda:
- Big Valve Head V1
- Vitesse cam (sorry Jim, didn't tell you yet
).
- Either 16V head or Big Valve head V2
