Do you have an air/oil seperator on your car? Just curious because I know a few folks have complained about blowing out oil pan gaskets and the such when running high boost levels.

The oil pan gasket blows only if there is lots of crank pressure (ie rings not sealing well).

I'm sold if you can run 25 PSI all day long at a track day driving event.
Are you running the stock intercooler?

Same turbo was used on a race car, the car won at Sebring few weeks back.. The guy ran 1.5-1.7bar on the track with stock intercooler. Dyno environment is not best for the intercooler as you get lots of heat soak..

I guess it's time to test water injection to see what benefit there is...

Rage - simlilar to Mustang in that it uses BOTH load AND inertia, just like the mustang. The numbers are a little lower than the 248c.

Those numbers just get me to smile and dream about driving my Vitesse ST3 car when the snow is all gone over here! Did it take you much time to learn to set up timing and fuel with the SMT6, SpecialTool?
I realy cant wait anymore!!

Just out of curiosity, do you know what that would convert to in DynoJet numbers? Most Dyno sheets I see are Dynojet and I think that would allow for a more fair comparison.

"quick -spool turbo or not?)" <<<<< I'm beginning to think that Vitesse doesn't actually offer the "not".

Mac - ask Rage2. I believe he has made 1000's of dyno runs.

Off topic, who is running the highest boost pressures on the street or track?
... not counting Bob Norwoods cement filled, nitrous injected, 968 engines.

Rage2 was at 28PSI (2 bar) or something like that.

Wasn't someone running 30-32 psi on the stock turbo using water injection somewhere in the L.A. area? I think he cracked his block when the water nozzle got clogged but I can't find the post.
