Alex - the "tail lights" mentioned in this thread are just that - tail lights. So far, most of the interest has been for front turn signals, front side markers, and rear side markers.

On the other hand, definiately let Klearz know if you are interested in tail lights, but be aware that there are several seperate lenses back there, so the price will surely add up.

yes we can do it all.
for the side markers is it the same lens front and back?
if yes then simply order 2 sets of front

if not
then create a new request...there is an option for side marker rear.

for the turn signal, the request is already going for front ones...for the back ones they are part of the tailights so lets put it down as that.

again if you guys want a quote on the tailight i need to know of how many lens they are made up.

im sorry if the notice are a bit anoying, usualy the demand is not this big for a certain lens. if you want to be removed from the list just send me an email with the name and email you inputed and i will take you out.

same goes for anyone who wants off the list.

For those using outlook just create a rule and dump them into the folder of your choice

also keep in mind that the engine is there for a reason.
yes its anoying because there is alot of requests being made right now.

whenever news and updates come for the product i will be emailing from that list, so please dont just bloke or delete or put fake emails in there, that just defeats the whole purpose of the database.

Klearz,

951 is just another name for 944 turbo. To answer your taillight question, there are 6 separate lenses that make up our taillights. Trying to remove them w/o breaking them is a HUGE PITA, and I have never done it successfully. Leadfoot944 made me some custom ones, but they took a long time to make IIRC.

ok so there is 2 things we can do for the tailights.

have someone spend the time and energy to seperate the lens and send me all 6 peices. i could then produce them all in clear, and each member could decide if they want to order a certain peice or whatever.

Another thing is if they are so hard to seperate, it must mean that we would be able to produce them as a whole? maybe top and bottom row seperate?

so i think you guys need to think about what you want and what is possible and let me know...then i can provide quotes.

No, those lenses you see in the picture are from a 944 Turbo (951). They only fit the Turbo and 944S2. The normally aspirated 944 has a different lens.

The side markers, front and back, for the North American 944/951/S2 are all the same. 924 are different, round.

Taillight lenses are all the same. But trying to change those to clear would be a real challenge as Leadfoot can tell you. Very labor intensive and requires skill.

I hate to be a stick in the mud, and I also have clear forward lenses myself, but I hope you realize that you may get into legal trouble on this project. Unlikely, but possible. Altezza had to recall/refund a bunch of lenses, like hundreds of thousands or maybe even millions, because they didn't certify their lenses or make them to legal specifications. You could also get whacked in civil suits if someone had your lenses and ran into trouble like a car crash.

Do you need a $10 deposit for both front and rear side markers or $10 for each? I will send money ASAP. Thanks

if its the same lens front and back, only 1 down payment will do....altho if you put 2 down payments down...its one less that has to come from another member, which means less waiting time.

btw the lens are sold as show only. so if ppl drive them around it is not our responsibility.

Yeah, ask Altezza how that argument worked out.

I don't think you will end up with a problem but wanted to warn you what you could face.
