Darn I am #4 on the list and I'm still waiting.
Michelle, you truly are an amazing woman to be able to do all these things..... My wife don't even know where to put gas in her car.

Got mine and it looks great. There are a few bent fins, but not too bad. I will probably just gently straighten them with a needle nose plier.
I think Michelle wins for first installation. Kudos to you. Your project looks like it is coming along very nicely.
Thanks for doing this Bill. I am looking forward to the 15-20% cooling increase...hopefully!

Well, don't get me wrong about my wife. She is highly educated and also raised three kids of which the first 2 are Doctors (Radialogist and Vet student)and the youngest is in College and will be a Computer science major and I also love her dearly. When it come to putting gas in her car she thinks that's why I'm here. Even when she's running on fumes she'll pass all the gas stations and drive home. As soon as she gets home she'll say "Honey I don't have any gas". She tried putting gas once and she didn't know how to open the gas cover on the side.

My wife asked on a trip to San Francisco if car owners had to park their cars opposite ways each night to keep the springs from taking a set, ( the spaces on some of the hills are really tilted. I knew right then she was O.K...can't get her interested any further in the car...

I'm curious if anyone have theres installed and tested and noticed it making their car run cooler? I think I might install mine today..
Your cooling system, when operating correctly, will run at the pre-determined temp, regulated by the t-stat. This is so that the engine expansion/bearing clearances are controlled, oil will get to the proper viscosity and not breakdown, fuel will atomize correctly, etc.
Where the added capacity will come into play is in "additional" heat load rejection. So if your Horsepower output has been increased, and additional heat load is added, then additional cooling is required.
This is where the Griffin radiator will shine.
Bottom line is, you should not see a difference on the temp gauge. After the warm up period, when the t-stat opens, the gauge should read as it always has. But the reading should be more stable though, due to the added capacity. Anotherwords, the gauge should not rise and fall as the cooling system attemps to keep up with the heat load.
I have 335rwhp. I drove my car for a spirited run on an 80+ degree day and the temp gauge stayed right at the first line, the entire time. No needle creep.
