Default Bill,

For those members who for whatever reason choose not to purchase a radiator
would it be possible to be added in there place?

Are they any on the approved list who have not placed there orders yet
that would be willling to add onto there order for a nominal compensation?

please contact me.

thanks,

UPDATE

Scotty will not be in his office to take orders thursday 5/19 and 5/20. He is going to a Super Chevy (contradiction of terms) convention. He will be back in his office on Monday 5/23. Scotty with Griffin would like all orders to be in by May 31. Please get your orders made. The absolute last date for members to call Griffin and order their radiators will be June 15. But do not wait this long to place your order.

Griffin has released 50 radiators to manufacturing and the build process has started. They will ship the radiators as they come off the line. First members to place their order, will be the first to receive their radiators.

As the first members receive and install their radiators, I would appreciate feedback. I installed the prototype in my car, but it needed some ovaling of the fan shroud holes. A little filing and it was fine. But I did send the adjustments back to Griffin to incorporate into the main run. Obviously, I will not be able to QC the main run, as I will not be getting another radiator. So I would like to hear from those that receive their radiators first about fit and finish.

Now that I have the hang of this group guy thing, maybe I should focus on a real exciting, over the top, hall of fame, group buy for the ages..................GROUP BUY - 2006 996tt from Porsche!!!

What do you think?

997 cup cars would be better, I'll have to get approval on that one, though.

Thanks, again, Bill. I think I'm 4th in line, and anxiously awaiting.

Jon,

Yeah......I would have to clear that group buy with my boss also (read: wife). A cup car would be a hard sell though. Not a good mall car. But a 997tt....that could happen!

Since you are 4th in line, I will expect some fit and finish feedback from you.

You HAD BETTER ASK JOHN D> before you start some Porsche 997tt group buy. THEY ARE NOT SPONSORS! Nor are they members. I say we flame their butts!

I contacted Scotty. My order will go at the end of the week. Thanks Again Bill. E

I have contacted Scott and am teed up for my radiator. I have installed a Fluidyne rad in my 1996 Mustang Cobra (chosen over Griffin), so will be very interested to see the difference in construction and performance on the 1989 P951! Thanks again to Bill for hooking us up on this deal. Now I have to fix several other issues on my car and get it ready for proper running.

Just got off the phone with Scotty and placed my order. He told me about 10-11 of you still have not called and placed your order!! Today is his LAST DAY in sales and someone else will be taking over so you BETTER get your order IN IF you want your radiator. Scotty said hes got some explaining to do if 45 of you said you wanted them but only 35 ordered them. So please if you commited to purchasing follow through!

Thanks again Bill!

Is he going to get screwed on this deal? Maybe there would be a way of arranging a distributorship for Paragon or Vitesse to sell the remainder at a premium over what we are paying.

That is pretty crappy to commit to this GB and then back out. This is a custom built piece.

Hey
Why don't we give those guys that were late the oppty to buy them. They were dying to get in.
There is really no reason why it should take some one this long to get there act together !!!
Sorry, but a commitment is a commitment .. Its time to grow up .
regards
Ed

Why doesn't someone call Scotty and get a list of the people who have still not given their credit card information? That way we can post those names up in a new thread and maybe then they will get their act together? Sorry I can't do it --> I'm at work right now. There's no way that everyone who commited should not be calling RIGHT NOW, Bill did too much work for this to happen!
