We've got one at home too , but the post was pretty clearly a 951/Hayabusa comparison.

And you're wrong anyways Sean, it's limited to 183 indicated stock, roughly 177 actual. It'll do more with no speed limiter, but then it's not stock is it?

Alright, I suppose you are correct Sam, but it is capable of upwards of 200 minus the limiter. Sorry special, didn't read any posts minus the first page, it was directed towards streckfu's951 reply about the performance.

Sam,

You need to correct your statement. They are 186mph on the limiter (300km/h). And there are stock hayabusa that will pull over 186. By stock, I mean without removing the rev limiter. They are VERY easy to tell which ones. If you have a FACTORY (i.e. you didn't swap it out) 220mph speedo, you have a non-restricted factory bike.

I would say for the non-restricted factory bikes the top speed in all magazine has been in the 189mph to 200mph range. I think about the most commonally accpeted figure is the 194-195 range. It seem most magazine hit this range.

As far as "remving the speed limiter" its as easy as fooling the bike into thinking its in 5th gear and not in 6th. The bike know what gear its in by the resistance on one wire that varies with each gear. The plug and play version of this is the TRE.

Now as far as the TRE goes, if you want one I will sell you one cheap. They only help the restricted bikes and they "feel" quicker. A TRE actually hurts acelleration.

you haven't been around here long have ya? it's the accepted rule around here that 'feel' is better than any stinking dyno and don't even try to bring logic or common sense into it.

0rpm..................1000rpm........................................... . 856432rpm
thats my dyno graph.... i couldnt get it on the computer so i had to make it but thats looks like it. You know you like the curve, dont hate cause you car cant pull those numbers stock. And yes i set my rev limiter to 856432 rpm and yes it does hit it regularly, and no it doesnt blow up. Good thing i put those 750/45/16 rear tires on my car or id be spinning everywhere since i get 750hp even at 0rpm

We Tennessee dudes have been known to use a "special" moonshine fuel mixture to increase our HP.
