I think I could hang with a Hayabusa on a roll-on.

darn i was expecting a video....oh well i beat a mclaren f1 on the local tollway tonite. it was pretty close up until about 180mph, then i started walking him. was about 10 car lengths ahead when this stupid minivan got in the way. people dont know when to stay off the raceway. the mclaren guy was real shocked, guess he didn't realise i'm running 20 psi on my k27, never dynoed it but it should be good for about 750rwhp.

Actually shaheed the K27 is only good to 657rwhp.

I bet you could sit on a bowl of icecream and tell me the flavor without looking couldn't you.

Hey, Tool. You race your Van Diemen in FC? Just curious, how does the performance of that compare to your Stage 3 951 on the track? I eventually want to build mycar into a GT3 car using the Vitesse kit, then I'll prolly move to open wheel racing like FC or something. Would I be taking a step backwards as far as speed and performance goes? I realize open wheel racing has a whole other set of dynamics and challenges with it, but as far as pure performance, how would you rate the two?

Thanks,
Scott

that's what folks say, but my car feels way stronger than that, got to be at least 750rwhp.

Alex - tough question. I think my 951 would leave the ford down the straight if I could keep the tires on the car. I am going to adapt that Racelogic traction/launch control to get the best I can from it.
At the first corner, the Ford would be at least a zip code ahead of the 951.

Nahh that was just a rumor. Although I hear with race gas you can run 50psi. That might get ya there.lol

nope. Just a old saying for smartass. I think my father told me that like 10 years ago...it might be old but, its pretty funny. Glad you have a sense of humor about it.
