No just 7 coats of the new white performance series and 5 coats of the pearl topcoat with the mardi gra pearls. This is our third color and the color shift is pretty amazing

Very cool! Happy Thanksgiving to you. Any pictures? What options does the car have?

Not much as far as options. CO2 425 431 454 533 650 946 C of A does not list a radio so no clue if car was ordered that way.
I will have to fig out how to post a picture. This one has super low miles.

Question: was Pearl White Metallic priced the same ($483) as the other metallic paint options in 1986, or was there some sort of premium? I dont believe you could order 944s in Paint to Sample back then (only 911s and 928s) and that charge was about $1260 on those cars. Was Pearl White a color that was just added late and never made the printed materials so it was ordered rarely? I know its a tri-coat and on later 993s it was a $12,000 option, but thats a different time and place.

My gut tells me it was priced like any other metallic. If any of you have the window sticker from one of these and can fact-check this, that would be great.

Very cool! Would love to see pictures and know the last four of the VIN to see if I've got it notated. Congrats on the acquisition!

Just bought it. It has only 69k miles and was sitting for almost 10 years inside a barn with the second owner. Very good condition. Has some small damage on the edge of the driver wheel well that im going to get fixed. Getting the car paint corrected and ceramic coated to make the pearl paint shine!

Vin: WP0AA0959GN157331

Option codes: 425 431 454 533 650 946

Doesn't have any Dash Cracks and the seats have little wear. Original German delivery car. Burgundy interior 1986 model with phone dial wheels.

Completely stock. Im adding a Euro Rear Bumper and short shifter. Thats about it for now.
