Back pressure is created by your turbine and hotside choice.

What size are the original pistons anyway? And does it need any fabrication to make the 100.5 or 101mm pistons to fit? Sorry about the silly questions, but since i dont know.. I have to ask

Standard piston-99.980 Cylinder Bore dia.-100.000

Cylinders must be bored to match piston size.

Cool

Nice numbers!

Turbo time. We are very lucky to have 94oct. But the mixing it with 110, is even better , cause I can use the advance timing on the Vitesse chips, which bring the egt's down by about 100 degrees

Just to make this very clear. MySwiss has custom chips and the FQS is unique for his chips.. Each Vitesse chip set has its unique FQS setting.

Indeed very impressive and I too will seriously consider the kit (after I have squeezed the last horse out of the K26/6), maybe next Spring or Summer.

The real goal should be +400 streetable horses (i.e. 91 octane or less) and for that purpose a little water would do wonders. I also see water injection as “works in progress” on Vitesse Racing’s (a.k.a. John, fast951) website.

Fast951, I am curious what components are necessary in the kit. 72# injectors, modified 60-1 HI-FI turbocharger and chips have been mentioned. I assume a high capacity fuel pump is needed too. How about the induction system, is a MAF or MAP system required? Can standard internals (pistons, cylinders, cam shaft) be used? And will the standard ignition and FPR be adequate?
From a prior discussion I know you are confident about the WF headgaskets capabilities, but maybe you can enlighten us on the preparation you did on your successful “400HP HG” installation. Was the head O-ringed? Was it installed dry or any gasket dressing used? And what was the cylinder head torqueing procedure?

PS I am getting a better idea of why my #4 cylinder cracked and will comment on that separately, when I get time.

Laust, I only supplied the chips for MySwiss. The credit should be given to MySwiss for assembling the engine so quickly and reliably, Tim at SFR for the header/crossover/Garrett turbo Milledge for the head & Cam of course TonyG for putting all the pieces together and spending the big $ on it.

Vitesse kits are designed to work with stock components (also with upgraded components). I don't want to hijack this thread. Check out Special Tool thread regarding the New Stage 3.

As far as HG I just O-ring the head, and follow the standard torque procedure.. If you would like additional information please email me directly or start a new thread. I would like to keep this thread dedicated to MySwiss.

Edman, it would be very interesting to see dyno numbers with the GT30R.

“I would like to keep this thread dedicated to MySwiss.”

Of cause, I may to some extend have mixed the two threads. It is just not every week you have two cars passing the 400WHP mark.

MySwiss: Still very impressive, but how do you keep the combustion pressure where it is supposed to be? Or to ask directly: which HG (with or without O-ring) do you use?

(Someone has to ask the dumb, but useful questions).

Laust Pedersen. I use a wide fire head gasket with copper o-rings in the headand stock studs. As for the 400rwhp, using 91 octane, it might be attainable, using water injection, but you still want to keep the egt's in check, with some good timing .

For all the specs of what the car has, check out tonygarcia.org

Edman. Thanks. I went to Zekes Dynojet, in Lachine. If you want , we can book another date, soon. Cause I have to go and dyno a customer SVT Cobra, in the coming weeks.

cwiff66. You can contact tom Charlesworth at 918 664 8714
