The PO painted it cause it was ugly due to age. Don't ask me why but u can't tell how much fuid is in there so i just have to fill it up and guess. i plan on replacing it soon but it is hard for me to spend $100 for something like that.

No, I am not saying the Stage 4 MAF added all that power. Several things changed between runs in addition to the MAF, including adding a Deltagate in place of the factory wastegate, and running 22psi on race gas instead of lower boost on pump gas.

I think turbo size will effect the amount of HP more than just MAF stage.

When I ran my Huntley stage 4, I bought a SFR stage 3 MAF to switch out, which moved the sensor further away from the turbo, no seat of the pants improvement, all other stayed the same just j-pipe and MAF changed.

Hi David,
Yes, David turbo type matters more. I'm collecting
info so that I can get a rough idea what the Stage
III will handle. Right now I'm running a Stage III
with my GT25TO4S but am notsure if the Stage III
maf sensor would be the bottle neck in the search
to attain max power out of this turbo.

Ok, I got the Vitesse chips, and am reporting back as promised... First, the stories about John's customer service are no joke. He responded to my endless e-mail questions absurdly fast, tossed in a small part for free, and delivered the chips on the specific day I requested. Thanks John!

The Vitesse MAF chips work better than any other I've tried to date!

With all other chips I've tried, I could never eliminate a super-rich range around 4000 rpms (unless I let it go lean at redline). With virtually no fine-tuning of the ARC2, I've been able to get a WOT a/f curve that stays above 11 and below 12.5 thoughout the relevant WOT rpm range. Finally!!! Further ARC2 tuning will no doubt yield further improvements.

I've attached a jpeg of a Zeitronix log, showing a 3rd gear run to redline at 18psi. The car always felt strong, and feels at least as strong with the Vitesse Chips. In a few weeks, I'll be going to the dyno to get some HP info. I have no doubt it will be my highest HP yet!

Ed,

If you have not sold the Vitesse stage 2 yet, maybe a ride in my car will motivate you to get it installed. I'm burning off the pump gas and should be at full 100 octane (i.e., full boost) by the weekend. Will let you know when I get the dyno appointment...am shooting for Sat. 11/27, but have not called the shop yet....
