It's the 3" 600* hose, I used it for my brake ducting and had some left over.

Well, it's bone stock, from California, and as far as I can tell, damn near flawless! Oh and having had 3 'normal' 944s in the past - and always wanting the turbo or S2 - I ABSOFRICKENLUTELY LOVE THIS CAR!!!!!

(How on Earth did I get by driving the n/a's for so long??)

One question - I want to keep it pristine and relatively stock, but if a guy were to wanna *ahem* 'make it better', where would you say one should start?

ps - thanx for the help Rich S.!!

Love that color, If I were you, I'd leave it stock for a street car, headaches come with mods, tunning, etc. unless you track it, leave it like it is. Looks great as it is!

Looks very nice. I would do a simple chip set and full exhaust. That is the best way to wake the car up and not do any damage. Just don't go crazy with boost. Keep it under 15 psi.

Thanx for the replies, guys!

A fellow Van-guy 951 freak (Rich Sandor) will likely be my mentor/advice guy with this car and I will be looking into a chip for sure - I don't want to go crazy as this a pseudo daily driver and reliability and originality is very important to me on this car........a little extra poop never hurts however lol! Best chip for the buck?? And what's a WG? Wastegate?

Oh, and I'd just prefer to remove the stoneguards...........I know it's been discussed to death but will a blow dryer, patience, and goo gone take care of those.....or do I need an actual heat gun?

One last thing - on the way home last night (late and very open, straight deserted road) - I saw this car climb to 120 mph so fast I almost thought it was in km/h!?! Is it true (in their day) the 951s were running neck and neck with the 911 Turbos? .......bloody addictive fun I tell ya!

WHen it was produced (1986) it was the world's fastest production 4-banger. It is NOT a tame car!
