monte carlo it is…I like it, but i think it should be thicker. Feels like I’m gripping a pencil versus needing a sharpie…but it will stay there for now.

Thank you! That’s a nice compliment coming from you, since I have a few pics of your car to inspire me. The wheels are ESM-004M, 17x8.5 at all corners, +35 offset with 225/45 and 245/40. ESM custom drilled them for me for 5x130 and and then I had to have the center bores machined slightly to accommodate the front hub nose diameter. Even with all that, it was about $1200 for the set so I’m happy for a budget wheel. Car is a semi-scruffy Nautic Blue Metallic, which I don’t know if it’s the same as Baltic Blue.

The plan is on this…87 turbo.

Ha, ha, I'm currently wearing an LL Bean t-shirt in "Faded Jade" that's about the same color as that 911 C2; it looks quite exotic.

Thanks!

All the cars provide a unique experience - which has always been the focus for me. The 951 certainly doesn't feel at all deficient in either that 'special' feeling or driving engagement - even compared with the 993tt and 964 3.8. My 951 has a significant list of modifications - the sounds of the turbo spool, waste gate and exhaust tone all add to the fun of it.

Just bought this old gal last week. I'm new to Porsche but this particular car was my dream car when I graduated HS in '88. So, my birthday gift to myself was this '88 951. Flew to Alberta Canada, picked it up without having seen it before expect for the photos and took a gamble driving it through the Canadian Rockies back to Vancouver over the course of twelve hours. She was like a cruise missile and didn't miss a beat. She needs a bit of TLC but overall she's solid. I'm going to enjoy refreshing her
