Hello, greetings from LITHUANIA. I bought 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo, last winter in one of the U.S. car auctions. I would love to find this wonderful car owner. A few things are known to me car owner lived in New Windsor, Maryland and near key name was Wall. Thanks in advance for any help.

968 Clubsport - I have not pulled it off yet to see if it is an OEM part or replica.

Ian, you know what they say about a person who does the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result, right?

Looks great! Good luck with this one! Glad you're back in the fold.

Cheers!

Well it was a 25' shutter speed. it was taken at night so no lighting also. Used a torch to paint the car and some surroundings.

I had to make it cooler to get rid of the yellow. some saturation to bring out the street art more. small tweeks here and there. Photo was a .raw so editing was more precise

Default 951 LeMons Race Car

At the request of a racing buddy of mine, here's some pics of our 24 Hours of LeMons 951. We've run the car for 7 races now and it's managed to hold on with only one major engine issue during the first race.

I found the car abandoned in Bahrain and was able to convince the owner to sign it over to me if I paid to get it out of impound. Supposedly it had once belonged to one of the King's sons so we decided to do a Bahraini theme for the car.

It was just horrible. There was salt and sand in the coolant for some reason, every piece of interior was ruined, etc. We stripped it down and got it legal for lemons and it's been a pretty fast car. We've of course made some modifications for convenience and necessity like cutting an access panel in the floor board to access the bell housing & wastegate bolts, swapped in a 91 S2 suspension so we could use late offset wheels, upgraded the spring rates front and rear and removed every damn thing that isn't usable in our crappy race.

We also added a proper aero package on the roof, it's a very resilient paper mache bust of the King of Bahrain...all 951s should have this option in our humble opinion.

Enclosed are some pics. The first is of the original vehicle as delivered; it really was pretty thrashed. The next is of the engine after the head came off. It took about 100 hours to prep the block for rebuild. The subsequent pics are the first race at Sonoma, then a re-theme again at Sonoma, a new theme of Naked and Afraid at the 5 mile course of Thunderhill and the last two are from our race last weekend. Yes that is a diesel powered 911 SC we're out-braking into turn 9

Cheers
