Sold my 86' Turbo 12 years ago and have regretted it ever since. Just went in on this thing today. A lot of work done by Steinels Autowerks originally, when motor was blown they put in a Turbo S motor. Should hopefully get to me in the next couple weeks and can't wait to refinish those BBS E26 wheels.

Default turbo S mats

I'm a fan of those mats - where did you find them? @RonD.

Looking forward to another driving season - this car just gets better with age.

Beautiful 951. Curious what size tires you are running in the rear... possibly 285/30-18 as they look pretty wide.

Thank you. Most don't recognize the color - its usually the first question I get asked. I searched for 2 years nationwide to find a nice Nile Green 951 - ended up finding this car less than 50 miles from my house! Of course, it did not look (or perform) like it does now.

Thanks Tom. Correct on the rear tire size. The rear Ruf's are 18x11 ET62 if I remember correctly. I'm running a rare Koni 'Showroom Stock Racing' adjustable suspension with larger T bars - we had to roll the rear lips slightly for the tires to fit without rubbing issues.

So, I guess since my '89 951 came with rolled fenders from the factory I might be able to squeeze in the 285/30-18s on my new Fuchs wheels. I have 265/35-18s on the S2 and they fit fine with the same size (BBS) wheels in ET65.

No new pictures in a month. So here you go.

Roll bar in the car was silver, didn’t look good to me. Had it stripped and powder coated matte black.

I had 285/30-18 on the rear of my 89 Turbo with RH Alurads and they JUST cleared due to the rolled lip.
PO had done something and had a non rolled lip stitched into the RR, and it had a slight touch on full jounce, but LR had original with the rolled lip and no issues.
