Now have 17" knock-off turbo twists ... I'm just getting running again pending discovery of a used wastegate elbow of the male-flange type for the year, but I figure some outdated pics will suffice.

This car died today. Balance shaft belt came of....
Before disaster this car was a 86 with lindsey chip, mbc, 1.1bar. Heigo rollbar and Sabelt seats

I'm in the planning stages right now. I still have my 86 car. It has escort cups, exhaust, and a few other things that this car does not. But I'm going to sell the 86, and this will be strictly a road car, so I have to decide whether it is of more value to remove the good stuff from the 86 or to sell it as is.
After I figure that out, I'm going to completely redo the interior in cahampagne leather, in the spots where it isn't leather now. So that will be the console, dash, door panels and cassette box cover. I have brand new leather champagne colored seat covers. I need to redye the rear carpet area. I have to install a new shift boot and find a new clock. Then I'm doing an LED mod on the guage cluster and the dash lighting.
After that, I'll be going to Vitesse, for the rest of my performance needs. Then it's 18" wheels and tires. AFTER that, I'll need to paint and install my 968 door handles, 968 mirrors, my eiro bumper, and eventually I may add a hoop spoiler, but I may just leave the spoiler as is.
It needs a few little dings and nicks taken care of, and I want to paint the rear yellow lenses red, while replacing the fronts with clears.
I'm sure I've left out a load of little things, but that should be the big stuff...for now! You know the deal.
Either way, this is going to be a very tight and reliable street car.

Ouch! Sorry to hear. Did you wreck the valves/head? Easy enough to fix....or modify first!
Ehall, I like the Blue and Black theme. Maybe keep that when you go up to 18's. Not sold on the Champ interior though. Guess I'll have to wait and see.
