Default Group Dyno Day Feeler...

Would any of you guys be interested in a group dyno day in the San Dimas/Upland/Rancho/Pomona area?

I've heard of some of the local dyno shops charge like $30/car with a group of at least 10 guys. If anyone's interested to see how much power their cars are really making, post.

I'd be down, if its when my car is running, I'd need a few weeks for that though.

That's a wild number of shops! We have one shop in Stanislaus county. It's a good one though...
The guy drives a 1000 hp pro street camero.

You guys have fun, don't blow any headgaskets

Definitely interested! Heck, if I manage to locate a replacement tranny by the time it rolls around, I'll want to dyno two vehicles.

Here's an update..

I just called a couple shops..

1) Hook Ups in Upland, CA said we can get a Group Dyno day on a Sat. with at least 10 guys for $40/car.
We get 3 runs each without a/f (extra $20), and some cool off time.

2) Injen Technology in Pomona, CA said he will get back to me, but they offer 3 runs and an a/f sheet for one car for $75, so for a group they should be pretty cheap..

3) Euro Sport Accessories in Anaheim, CA said we can get 3 runs, and an a/f sheet for $85/car with discount, this place is by far the most expensive.

These 3 are with a 10 car minimum, but we shouldn't have to worry about hitting that limit...

I'll call more shops later today.

make sure the dyno is a DynoJet dyno... its the most common, and as far as i know, most accurate... some of us have dynoed before, or will again, and it most likely will be on a dyno jet, so lets get this group on a dyno jet...

Ok I got the update on Injen in Pomona, they said that we can get 3 runs, and an a/f for $55/car.

I'm still shopping around, anyone else want to get in on this?

1) Me (for sure)
2) Eyal (once car is ready)
3) Joseph (might count two cars if tranny is fixed in time)
4) Lart (2 for sure)

So we got 5, maybe 6 cars for sure..

Do any of these shops have a scale as well? I wouldn't mind weighing my car at the same time.
