Default AVG TIME TO GET GURU PARTS

Has anybody never received parts from Danno? I know he is slow, but I have been getting excuses for going on three and a half months for why my map kit is not here. I'm afraid of never getting the rest of my parts. How long have you guys waited for parts?

Do a search on the thread "putting vendors to the test". What you're experiencing is not unusual.

I saw the thread, the main thing that upsets me in not only waiting forever, but when I'm lied to for that long, that's no way to run a business. Dan is awesome when it comes to the knowledge of 951s. I could have bought a kit from SFR and I would have had it 3 months ago.

Danno is very, very sketchy. It took me 3 months to get my chips after I paid for them the first time. Recently I've come to find they do not function as claimed.....they DO NOT support 75lb injectors. Danno sent me an email on 9/19 stating they would go out on Monday 9/20. Still no chips.

Maybe you should consider another vendor.

Unfortunately it seems to be hit or miss with Danno.....everytime I have ordered from him I got my stuff within 2 weeks.......you will get it....its just a matter of when......personally I think Vitesse , SFR and Lindsey are on the ball and expedite their orders promptly.....I've dealt with all three and they are on it!

Good luck....

Also too bad about the MAP kit......I prefer the MAF set-up from Vitesse...its a much smoother kit....hopefully you won't have too much off idle stumble like several people here have had!

Danno is he in love again? I hope is not another crash and burn story. He has been posting regularly on the OT forum last post was on a thread about the "G-SPOT". Last time he dissapeared it was a romance gone bad. I wonder what will be the next excuse.

Give a call to Dave @ Lindsey Racing you will be surprise by the quality of the customer service and lightning fast shipping.

Danno told me that my chips should be coming also soon since he is reburning my 75# injectors. I know he is a busy man so i won't dawg on him until i know what is holding him up

daniel951........waiting on my 75lb chips too. Last email Danno said he was laid up on the couch with a sprained ankle. Don't get me wrong........I'm not dawging him........just a objective observation based on my past experience.
I love the chips.......although I wish they worked with the 75lb injectors I spent $280 on!

I, too, am in line for chips. In his defense, I ordered the 18psi chips from Powerwerks, but have not been able to hit 18 psi. Danno surmised that I got the AFM version instead of the MAP-specific version that I need. He offered to swap out several weeks ago, but as of yet nothing.

My chips seemed to work fine but danno said he wanted to send me some new ones for the 75#. I blew a headgasket recently but i don't think it was beacuse of the chips maybe a short in the fuel injector harness or something. Now i am stuck on some wiring problems i will try to post a thread or search for the answer

Sorry about your head gasket.

My 18lb chips never functioned properly with Delphi 75lb injectors & resistors.

Awww geez. Take it easy on the guy - he's running a small shop with a lot of orders / demand and believes in quality over quantity. Based on his own experiences with a certain other vendor who I will not mention the name of (some of you know who it is) and their rushed, half-assed approach to getting stuff done and how pissed off Danno was when his engine blew up as a result, I'm sure he doesn't any of you out there to go through the same. Just keep on him and I'm sure he'll come through - he isn't the kind of guy to stiff anyone - probably just needs a good reminder now and again like the rest of us.
