Default Autometer gauge vs Zeitronix boost sensor - Which to trust?

I'm getting different readings from my autometer mechanical gauge and the Zeitronix electrical gauge. Which one should I trust?
Max boost is AM=18+ ZT=17. Vacuum readings also differs between the two.
AM=19.5 ZT=18+.

Does the autometer gauge read zero with the car off ? I have one that is off-zero.

Good question. I'll go outside and check.

Hmf. -0.4 with the engine off. The autometer gauge was $35 and reads correct while the ZT was $160 and it's off. Is there anyway to calibrate the darn thing?
Still, the difference between the gauges are ~.5 psi.

And yes, I'm at sea level (60ft above).

depends on where the gauges are getting their signals too. a kink or two in the line could cause a pressure drop that the other gauge doesn't read. if they are plumbed next to each other, i guess i don't know which one to trust then.

I've T'ed into the line to the KLR. Then another T to the AM and the ZT-2.

The Autometer, being a mechanical, won't be accurate unless you're at sea level. Trust the Zeitronix.

Does it matter if its repeatable and your air fuel ratio is correct?
If I was the manufacturer of relatively cheap boost guages I think I would ensure they read slightly high rather than low, then you shouldn't get customers banging on the door saying your guage blew my engine.

Hmm.. Today the gauge reads 0 with the engine off. I installed it yesterday. Maybe it's self-calibrating? I'll trust the reading of the ZT-2. I'll give the AccuBoost another half turn.
