Why do porshe's suck?

Okay Billy-bob, here's why he'll beat you. Your mustang is a 94 which means it's a heavy turd @ 3250lbs. The 3.30 first gear in your t-5 combined with your 2.73 rear gear makes you an even bigger turd out of the hole. Also, the t-5, stock clutch, and 8.8 combination is usualy good for a 17% driveline loss (22% if you have an E4OD). On your best day you'll see 2.5 60' times at the track. Let's say you have an "exhaust" and it gave you a fex extra HP. From the sound of your post, I'd bet you have a flowmaster cat back that is good for about 7 RWHP. But unless you have a decent set of long-tubes, an x-pipe, and a real cat back (not slowmasters)..... You're not seeing more then 10 HP. I'm going to give you the benifit of doubt and estimate you have 197RWHP and 249RWTQ.
On to your buddy and his FRONT ENGINE/REAR TRANSMISSION, four-banger, water cooled, sucky "Porshe". With a decent set of chips he's putting down 220RWHP and 260 RWTQ. With a good set he's putting down 240RWHP and 280RWTQ. While you MAY beat him for a second or two off the line, the lighter and favorably geared "porshe" will catch boost and quickly pass you in first. From then on it's lights out for you kiddo. Your best bet is a 0 to 10 MPH race with him. That's you're only chance.
My fairly "stock" car beat the **** out of a fox body with twisted wedge heads, E303, 1.7RR, cobra intake, full exhaust, 24lb injectors, 3.73's, 65mmTB, 75MM mass-air. Take care billy-bob...........

Where's Dan87's video of the race with a cobra? They started from a standstill and maybe in a half mile the cobra wasn't even in the camera's view anymore.

I don't see why you guys are so hostile I just asked for your input.
Sorry I don't know EVERYTHING about your cars.
But I still don't understand how it could be faster. I have way more torque than him.
I'm sure some of you guys have had stangs but I know that you must have some serious internal mods and tons of boost to beat cobra

To be honest when I had my cobra I probably thought the same thing... but since I now own a 951 and can acuratly compare it to my Cobra the 951 is hands down faster. I think it something you need to see and feel to believe take a ride in your buddies car:-)

When Billy talks about the track, I guess he means drag strip. Funny how a lot of the straight-line boys call the strip a track. It's entirely possible his car is faster in a straight line than many 944s, but who cares?

If you AREN'T a member on here playing a joke, you're in for a rude awakening. I have a lightly modified 951 that put a car length on a C5 'Vette droptop, has walked away from multiple WRX's (one well modified), pulls on an E46 M3 when at full boost, and ran with one 996 Targa. It's not a surprise you underestimate these cars... take a stroll into the 911 and 928 boards and many there will agree with you. That's ok, we walk away from most of them too
