Default New Jersey Dyno Day

anyone up for a dyno day? I think I got all the kinks worked out of my car.I am looking to goto the dyno soon.I got a good place and would like to see other machines dyno with me unless you have more power I don't wanna look bad.My Dyno guy will travel to a central location for so many hours booked. So if you interested we can probably come to a date, time, and location.

I'm always up for this sort of thing, let me know when, where, and how much. As long as it's not a Dynapak I'm in if I'm around.

Location can be changed.Price was $125 an hour but when I last went I did 3 hours and he only charged me $200 I did 12 runs with alot of time between for cool down.He has a Wide band A/F gauge I had a bung on my exhaust so we just put it there I don't know what happens if you don't have a bung.If I can goto him with a set amount of people I am sure he will give us a good deal.I would think picking the right day to get everyone envolved who wants to be is the hardest part.I like going on cool day in the morning under 80 is a must.As soon as we get more people in we can start talking times.

Count me in, if the date works for me. And I get my head back on (lost the timing belt tensioner Saturday, head is at the shop now, should be running again in 2 weeks)

Hey Damian--just curious why you don't like the Dynapack? From all I've read it's the most accurate of all. If not Dynapack, which do you prefer?

I don't know if it was software or operator error, but that dyno gave readings that were way off-170 hp, with both torque peak and hp peak being almost 1000 revs away from where they should be. This was on two different 968's. The dyno jet results were just what I thought they should be. And I've seen two other 968's have the same issue with a dynapak.

Bizzarre! I've heard nothing but good things about the Dynapack. For $60k, you'd think it would be spot-on.
