968 mirror,hanle, and spoiler conversion ?'s.
Does anyone know where to go to get the parts to convert over to the 968 mirrors, spoiler and door handles? If you have already done the door conversion, did you have to get the whole door repainted or do the mirror and handle cover the footprint of the old piece? Thanks.

I purchased my mirrors and door handles on eBay from German Auto Dismantlers. Their prices for the door handles and mirrors is good, as they are already assembled and just need to be painted an installed. However, the price they charge for a 968 wing is ridiculous, so I would shop elsewhere for a used one. You can go other routes and buy the mirrors and door handles in pieces and assebmle them yourself, but I have heard that can be a pain in the a$$. Also, you only need to paint the parts themeselves, not the whole door or anything.

www.944online do a genuine porsche 968 door handle set for $250.
Regarding Mirrors get good used ones, there are a lot of replicas around that are really crap. Non Electric/Glass held in with Velcro!
I bought some off a 993 but now have to get the mirror bases as they are different on a 968.
They are well worth the hassle though especially if you fit the clear indicators. Brings the car right up to date!!
Does anybody know where I can get some 968 Mirror Bases? Are they listed seperate on PET???

The mirrors cover the old footprint almost completely. There's one tiny, tiny corner that's slightly exposed. You'll never notice it. Tifosiman just changed his mirrors to the 968 ones and you cant see the old paint at all.
The door handles cover all of the old footprint.
I got mine from Sunset Porsche in Oregon. 1-800-346-0182.
Ask for Jeff. He'll get you everything you need at the best price out there.

Gary, I looked at some of your videos. Looks like you know how to have fun. What modifications have you done to your 951? I saw the Arm-1 and the avc-r, but that's all I could tell. I noticed that the E55 made quick work of it.

Mike,
Turbo, MAF, exhaust, hadrpipes, monster BOV, boost controller, clutch fuel PR. If you looked at the whole race you will notice when I got a good launch I stayed out in front to about 110mph. The guy had renntech do a couple of things to that car.
Pete,
I love that splitter and clear lenses. Who sells those? (If you don't mind giving away the secret.)

Don't suppose you would have the part number for RHD???

I went to Sunset for the handles
and I got the 968 hatch and mirrors off someone who was parting out a 968
The front splitter (which is the same as the one above) I got from AIR (American International Racing)
Good luck
